#114- I am 20 and never had my period: HA, disordered eating, exercise, and hormonal health

today we are going to chat about all things hormone health, and HA recovery. this is yet another vulnerable and “taboo” subject but with so many girls struggling, I just had to open up about something I have been struggling with.
HA, or hypothalamic amenorrhea is a loss of period. generally, if a girl does not have a period by 16, or her period goes missing, she is diagnosed with HA. it might seem great to not have to worry about a period, but it is a BIG indicator that something is wrong in your body. it can cause very negative impacts on the future of your health as well.
whether or not you have a missing period, we also discuss hormonal acne, mood swings, and everything else about being healthy for the sake of HEALTH and not being skinny. female hormonal health is a very broad topic, but I do my best to give my tips to helping your female hormones. keep in mind I am not a doctor or specialist, but have done lots of research in the past.
finally, we will chat about my THOUSANDS of dollars spent on holistic and functional medicine doctors, the tears and blood tests, things that I learned, and the steps I am taking to rebalance my hormones and regain my period.
