#130: Bulldogs, Rebels fall on the road – 01/24/19
Description
The Mississippi State and Ole Miss men’s basketball teams are both coming off tough road losses.
On this episode, Logan looks at what went wrong for the Bulldogs at Kentucky (1:42 ). The 3-pointers wouldn’t fall, and Aric Holman’s struggles in the post continued. Up next is a big home game versus Auburn (12:12 ). The Rebels, meanwhile, weren’t very competitive at Alabama (6:54 ), and they will try to bounce back Saturday against Iowa State.
On the women’s side, MSU was off Sunday and shouldn’t have much trouble with its next two opponents, Florida and Ole Miss (19:56 ), although the Rebels are playing much better lately (21:07 ).
Spring football is right around the corner, as Ole Miss is set to start drills Feb. 28, with the Grove Bowl set for April 6 (14:23 ). Parrish examines the running back situation, with Eric Swinney looking to leave. As for MSU, it lost a couple of assistant coaches and has a couple of players in the NCAA transfer portal (17:31 ).
