On episode 147 I am delighted to be joined by former league of ireland manager, UEFA Pro Licence Coach and current head of games at Laois GAA.
This episode was recorded during the 2023 League of ireland season while Shane was coaching at Cobh Ramblers. They finished 3rd in the Division 1 league and at the end of the season Shane stepped away from the team to focus on his full time position with Laois GAA.
His experience includes time at FC Carlow, Wexford Youths, Galway United, Dundalk along with multiple club GAA Senior teams. We discuss all things coaching, the highs and lows of coaching, being let go as a manager, GAA vs LOI, Instilling Football principles at Corofin, Video analysis, building a backroom team, skills took kit, his role as a GPO in Laois and so much more.
