#2: What it was like to find out our child had autism Part 2 of 2
Description
The first time I heard the word Autism I was SCARED senseless. I was afraid that one of my children might “get it”. I had no idea what it even was honestly. I only knew that there was an increasing rate of children being diagnosed with autism, and those numbers terrified me when I was pregnant with my first child, Eddie.
In today’s episode, I first want to introduce myself and our family to you. Then as I describe to you what our life looked like right before our son was diagnosed with autism, what our appointment with the pediatric neurologist was like, and then right after our son was diagnosed. I then will give some resources to use if you suspect that your child may have autism, or if a loved one you knows needs some information.
