But are you defined by your child's actions? What do you think? If you want to rise above the disappointments of your children, you gotta live life with your flare. The K.I.S.S. ~ Live life with YOUR flare! Here are three things parents can do to rise above the disappointments of their children: 1. Self-Reflection and Self-Care: Take time for self-reflection to process your emotions and thoughts about the situation. Engage in activities that bring you peace and joy, whether it's meditation, exercise, or hobbies. Remember, you can only support your child effectively when you take care of yourself first. 2. Seek Support from Other Parents or a Therapist: It can be beneficial to seek support from fellow parents who may have experienced similar situations. Sharing your feelings and seeking advice from a trusted community can provide you with valuable insights and perspectives. Consider consulting a therapist or counselor to navigate through your emotions in a safe and confidential environment. 3. Set Boundaries and Practice Patience: Establish clear boundaries to protect your emotional well-being and maintain a healthy relationship with your child. Communicate your expectations calmly and assertively, and practice patience as you work through the challenges. Remember that it's okay to prioritize your mental health and set limits to ensure a harmonious environment for yourself and your family. Your child's disappointments have nothing to do with you!  They have to own their actions. Now, I will say that you do have an extreme influence on your children. So, depending on the age, it is important to look at how you can be a better parent.  However, if the kiddo is of age, they bear the responsibilities. You don't have to like what they did, but you can still love your child. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
