Mike Braun, with details expected next week. NIPSCO has filed plans for a new 2,300-megawatt natural gas power plant in Jennings County to support growing data center demand. U.S. Steel has greenlit about $200 million in improvements at its Gary Works facility as integration with Nippon Steel continues. INPRS officials cautioned lawmakers that paying down liabilities won’t immediately free up dollars, with the teachers’ pre-1996 account still carrying $3.1 billion in unfunded liabilities. Also, Farm Business Farm Management has expanded into Indiana with offices in West Lafayette and Indianapolis, and the Grissom Air Museum will begin a $750,000 expansion next week.
