Ro: Într-o zi mohorâtă de toamnă, când frunzele cădeau ca niște fluturi galbeni, Ion urca aleea pietruită care ducea la Castelul Bran.
En: On a gloomy autumn day, when the leaves fell like yellow butterflies, Ion walked up the cobblestone path leading to Bran Castle.

Ro: Turnurile impunătoare ale castelului se ridicau spre cerul cenușiu, învăluite în mister și istorie.
En: The castle's imposing towers rose towards the gray sky, shrouded in mystery and history.

Ro: Ion căuta liniște și istorie.
En: Ion was searching for peace and history.

Ro: De curând, inima lui fusese frântă și spera ca legendele lui Vlad Țepeș să-i poată distrage gândurile.
