Ro: Era o după-amiază răcoroasă de toamnă în București.
En: It was a cool autumn afternoon in Bucharest.

Ro: Frunzele cădeau pe bulevardele aglomerate, iar cerul se acoperise de nori.
En: Leaves were falling on the crowded boulevards, and the sky was covered with clouds.

Ro: Marius se plimba pe străzile orașului, gândindu-se la Alina, iubita lui care trăia departe, în Cluj-Napoca.
