Glaring questions unasked and unanswered include if this is the state of China's economy, why are we only hearing about them now? Did all the talking heads criticizing DJT for ignorance and economic idiocy not know that Xi's position was this weak and he would likely need to talk and bend as he has done? I've got to believe that, if a NYT reporter saw these weaknesses and cracks developing in the Chinese economy in recent years, it was not a secret. Makes Trump look pretty smart, no?
