Abducted at the age of 6 from an Oakland, California, park in 1951, Albino was missing for over 70 years until he was recently found through a combination of old photos, newspaper clippings, and DNA testing He was lured by a woman who promised to buy him candy. He was transported of state and eventually to the East Coast,

… His niece, Alida Alequin, played a crucial role in the search for her long-lost uncle. After taking an online DNA test for fun in 2020, Alequin discovered a match that led her to Albino. With the help of law enforcement agencies, they were able to locate him on the East Coast and bring him back to Oakland to reunite with his family. In June 2024, the FBI facilitated a reunion in Oakland between Albino and his family, including his older brother Roger, who was with him on the day of the abduction. Unfortunately, Roger passed away in August shortly after their reunion.
