The Caldwell Medical Center Foundation and Morgan’s Funeral Home are teaming up to host the annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run in mid-October.

Lorielle VanHooser, director of the Caldwell Medical Center Foundation Board, and Jenna Wainer, co-owner of Morgan’s Funeral Home, have announced the 5K will take place on October 18.

Wainer said they are excited to bring back the Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run this year.

click to download audioShe said the event not only honors those who have fought breast cancer or lost their battle, but to also encourage and inspire anyone who may be diagnosed in the future by hearing the survival stories.

To register and pay online, click here. Registration also opens at 7:30 a.m., and the race starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, at Morgan’s Funeral Home, 301 West Washington Street in Princeton. Adult participants will receive a free commemorative t-shirt, and light refreshments will be provided.
