History is loaded with questions about which people once debated, sometimes fought to the death, or split churches, questions we now consider silly, laughable, or looney. But before we throw a rock, it does not take much to find questions being debated or argued today that are also irrational - Can a man become pregnant? Can a woman become a man or vice versa? Need I go on? At any rate, the arcane and inane questions once debated are amusing now and perhaps also thought-provoking, worth our review. Even the Church or Christians in general have been caught up in these questions, e.g., If you are cremated, can you be resurrected? If a believer commits suicide is this a mortal sin unworthy of heaven? Was Mary conceived without original sin?
