Description

Molly spent the week focusing on receiving little things and found that by focusing on this, she was being present. In order to be present, it’s important to eliminate the distractions.

We need to retrain ourselves to be present and stay focused.

Molly discusses ways to be more present.

  • Get rid of the notifications on your cell phone.

  • If you are focusing on something and your mind wanders, train your mind to release the thought, honor it and let it go.

  • Take the time to be in the moment and be grateful for that moment.

Molly confesses why she struggles to be present with her children. She discusses her emotional struggles with birthing twins at 26 weeks. As she spent time focusing on keeping her babies alive, she stuffed down her feelings. As they became healthier, that’s when her body and mind began bringing up those feelings.

We cannot grow as human beings unless we are willing to see the parts of ourselves that still need work. Part of our ability to be able to grow is if we honor ourselves for where we are.
