Eine Reise durch Gloria Anzaldúas Borderlands/La Frontera: von Mestiza-Consciousness und Grenzräumen über Mythen wie die Virgen de Guadalupe bis zu „How to Tame a Wild Tongue“ – Schreiben, Sprache und Spiritualität als Praxis des Widerstands.
In dieser Folge sprechen Jessica und Verena über Gloria Anzaldúas Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza und darüber, wie Grenzräume Identität, Wissen und Zugehörigkeit prägen. Anzaldúa verbindet Autobiografie, Theorie, Lyrik und Essay; sie schreibt mehrsprachig und macht so erfahrbar, dass Ambivalenz, Mehrdeutigkeit und Übersetzung keine Störung, sondern Methode sind.
