In our second and final story of our COVID-19 series, we get a peek into what was a living nightmare for the Bietz family.

Back in March when they went to Peru on a long-planned vacation, the family of four had no idea they would be stuck in the South American country, even when the Canadian Embassy told them it was safe to continue their vacation. 

A national lockdown. A desperate family. Endless calls to the Canadian government who had little help for them. And day after day went by cooped up in a Peruvian hotel room, which they weren't allowed to leave. This is their story.
