Rik Center, Co-Founder of the Mindfulness Care Center, covers how to re-establish the body's ability to stabilize and regulate itself without becoming overwhelmed in order to return the body to a natural state of calm, wholeness and a sense of feeling safe.
We discuss:
- How to reduce stress, anxiety through mindful resiliency
- How to identify your emotions and reduce negative thought patterns
- Using mindfulness to identify with bodily sensations that arise with our emotions
- Reconnecting to our senses and body-awareness
- Re-establishing a sense of safety through mindfulness
We go through a 4-5 minute mindful meditation followed by a debriefing and Q/A from the audience.
