What does confession mean to us? To we keep it to ourselves or breathe life into words heard by others? Father Joe asks Father Rix for his confessions with hopes it acts as an example for what every person can do. The things we have done wrong will remain in our hearts until we can absolve ourselves of that burden. Confession is a great way to do that, but not the only way.
