Enjoyed this Audiobook
Counted with the Stars painted an exquisite picture of the might and faithfulness of the Lord God who created the Earth and heavens. The story of Exodus came to life through the eyes of an Egyptian girl sold into slavery by her father to pay his debts, and her Redemption by her true Father from above. Great story!
great story horriable narrator
I loved this story it is the only reason I kept listening, the narrator had a good voice but she read the book like she was in an English speaking class. Every word pronounced so precisely that there was almost know emotion to it but only correct and precise speaking. It was really distracting and took a lot away from the characters.
Couldnt endure it...
The narrator has the most annoying voice. She speaks in a way that I find most annoying in a narrator-she has a whispery voice-as if she is reading a bedtime story-and she pronounces as many syllables as possible in every word. I enjoy Christian fiction and I understand the authors goal of possibly educating readers who might not be familiar with scripture, but I find it tedious to listen to background stories that dont really further the plot. I gave up after a little over an hour-I tried to get used to her voice but I found myself clenching my teeth after a few minutes every time I attempted to listen. I wont be listening to the other books in this series.
Counted with the Stars
Great book!! Loved the authors ability to make me feel as if I was right there. About to listen to Book 2. :)
