Dancing In A Cloud Of Death
Description
In the summer of 1945, a group of young teenage girls were away on Dance Camp in the scenic desert landscape of Ruidoso, New Mexico, when they encountered a bizarre incident. In the middle of the night, they were awoken by a strange, bright light, and a booming sound in the distance. When they stepped outside hours later, they noticed that fine, white particles were falling from the sky; and began to play with it as they thought it was some kind of miraculous desert snow.
The repercussions of this incident wouldn't be felt until later. Farm animals and crops in the vicinity began dying of unnatural causes. People got sick, and just a few decades, all but 2 of the teenage girls had died from various cancers.
