This week we are putting the spotlight on our MEMBER INTERVIEW, with David Hughes from Twofold Building Projects.

Overview

• Started as a cabin maker joiner and took his time to know what he wanted to do after school.


• Worked for one of the biggest building companies in Australia and managed big projects with them for a couple of years


• His business partner Tim started his business in 2011 which had limited success due to the lack of support that led him to lose more money each year without realizing it. He did subs for him to build houses in the local area


• In 2018 they started marketing Two Fold while building the business when opportunities started coming in. He wasn’t a licensed builder at the time and so he partnered with Tim.


• They started with doing renovations in dual occupancies but now they are doing duplex and no home only. No more renovation projects.
