Mary concludes our season of teaching on the Gifts of the Spirit with her thoughts on the gift of showing mercy, which appears in Paul's list of gifts in Romans 12. She helpfully draws out the distinction between grace and mercy and the tension between mercy and justice. God has shown us mercy in His dealings with us who have come to know Him as His children. It is only fitting therefore that we, with the ongoing development of the character of Jesus in us, should also be ministers of this amazing gift to those around us. Mary has kindly included detailed notes on this talk - see attached.
