The Resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. If we believe in the resurrection wholeheartedly, it should shape how we live our lives here on earth as we hold onto the promise of eternal life with Jesus. Walking us through the issues raised in Mark chapter 12, Sam challenges us by asking two key questions: 1). Do you feel empowered to live a bold & courageous, God-centred life because you know there's better to come? 2). Does the thought of Jesus coming again fill you with joy, dread or are you indifferent? Thought-provoking questions when we live in a society that values, as the Sadducees did - comfort, wealth and power for this life!
