Continuing with our teaching series on Gifts of the Spirit, we focus this week on the gift of faith. All believers receive saving faith when they accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and hopefully go on to have a sustaining faith which endures for their lifetime, but only some believers are given the Spiritual Gift of faith where the Spirit provides extraordinary confidence in God's promises and where there are no circumstances that can shake the believers' faith in God. Kate explores the highs and lows of this particular gift recognising the advancement of the kingdom that this gift can bring, whilst using personal experience to reflect on the after effects of facing particularly difficult challenges and how the rest of the body can then step in with encouragement and support.
