Description

Dr. John Samuelsson is a medical data scientist and graduate of the MIT Health Sciences and Technology program. For his PhD, he explored the use of encephalography to sense activity in the cerebellum, a structure at the back of the brain that has an extremely high density of neurons and is critical for movement, coordination, and attention. His work could lead to new monitoring and diagnostic approaches aimed at cerebellar pathologies.
