E17:S1 Simona Dyankova: Olympic Gold, but in reality - a Medal for RESILIENCE!
Description
She is graceful, elegant, delicate... yet not so fragile.
She is a person who, despite the "No" moments in her life, has a Medal for RESILIENCE.
She is the captain of our historic rhythmic gymnastics team that brought home the gold from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (held in 2021).
She can't remember why she didn't give up; many in her position would have. Her dream begins to come true slowly, gradually, and late, but not too late.
Professional sports aren't for everyone. But those who reach the top have precisely the toughness and resilience to rise above the circumstances. They have the ability to transform failures and rejections.
They keep going.
This is the profile of a successful athlete.
This is the mindset of a champion.
It doesn't happen without pain, failures, and disappointments.
But it does happen – when you have a goal, perseverance, people who believe in you, and the right mindset.
We share with you our pleasure from an honest conversation with Simona Dyankova.
"We, the athletes, have been through many difficult things; we haven't been carefree, but we've had goals, achieved them, and that has opened many doors for us. We've developed as individuals, which I think is very important!", Simona.
