When coupled with constantly evolving beauty standards, the feeling of confidence in one’s self always feels just slightly out of reach. In this episode, we expose some of the problems with unrealistic beauty standards and the band-aid the cosmetic industry promises to put on any flaw, bump, or wrinkle. The message is simple. Aging is normal, flaws are beautiful, and our bodies are powerful. We share our own personal stories and perspectives on how this expectation of beauty has gotten too heavy to hold.
