E38: YOUR SOURCE OF JOY
Description
In this episode I share an excerpt about the joy that God offers to us. This joy is not contingent upon circumstances and can coexist with sadness, grief or frustration. It cannot be taken away, but it does require us to trust God. Like faith, trust needs to be proven out as we take risks and have experiences of God with us. One of the keys of growing in our trust and, therefore, joy, is to recognize, acknowledge and be grateful for the ways God has been there for you. That doesn't mean everything goes the way that we want it to, but how has God helped you through a challenging circumstance such as through comfort and encouragement? As you learn to trust and live in God’s joy, you’re sharing the most beautiful song with the world around you.
