EPISODE 2 - Managing Yourself

Update: 2021-08-30

What can you as a manager do to look after your own mental health while creating a safer work environment and being a better leader?  Managing other people with empathy is an important part of creating a safe work environment, but it’s also important to look within - look after yourself and be honest with yourself about your own strengths, weaknesses and needs. It’s also important to be prepared to talk about mental health. It’s up to you to make that conversation natural and honest.

Guests in this episode include Ian Firth, Safework NSW; Tim Hoopmann, Beyond Blue Speaker; Dr Vicky Carter, psychologist; Craig Semple and Dr Jim Donnelly.
