Hello lovelies!

"Don't give away your power".

Did you know that the only way that others can take power away from us is if we 'give' our power to them?

It's amazing to me the power that I give to others when I realize, "wait, I'm giving them power over me and it's up to me to take it back'.

Think about this for a second. Think about all of the times where you've felt powerless and like you couldn't do anything, and you just had to 'deal' with the situation.

The times when someone was treating you as "less than" or talked over you or around you or just had a bad attitude against you for no reason.

They have zero power over us if we don't 'give' our power to them.

What does this mean exactly?

When someone is ignoring you or treating you as "less than", you can let it fall to the side and basically keep doing you.

In other words, you don't let their 'attitude' affect you in any way, shape or form.

This takes away their power and they have no power over you from that point on.

It's kind of like a magic trick.

You don't let what they're doing or saying affect you - it's almost like it goes in one ear and right out the other ear and you keep doing your thing and (keep being you and doing you), regardless.

Trust me, as soon as they notice that you don't give an eff and keep doing you (no matter what they do), they'll usually back off and leave you alone because you're showing them that they have no power over you.
