For us at Building Ambition it's all about finding your passion and pursuing it with a relentless resolve. I like to find guests with similar belief systems and this week was no different. Meet Whitney Hamlin....veteran, student, daughter, friend, and motivator. Whitney found her love for the weight room while deployed over seas, and brought that passion back home with her. Now she is 40 pounds leaner, with shoulders and biceps that leave most men jealous. Whitney's approach to health and fitness is unconventional when you think about a woman trying to better her physique or improve her athletic ability because for Whitney it's all about heavy weights and finding new ways to exceed herself in the gym. That might mean cranking out 100 rep sets or working on her pull ups while challenging other to match her performance. I wanted Whitney to join us on The Building Ambition podcast to speak to other women about the importance of weight training, and she did just that. Promoting the idea of creating time for yourself, and always pursuing what makes you happy, her beliefs lined up perfectly with ours and it was a great conversation. Whitney is currently active duty in the United States Airforce, and studying for her Masters Degree at the same time.
