Ep. 13 - A FAUHS Trifecta: Social, Academic, and Community Involvement

Three young talented ladies join me today - One is a junior, and two are seniors at FAUHS who have been named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition. These students are among 16,000 whose scores placed them in the 99th percentile nationally. More than 3.5 million high school students each year take the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. All three hold Officer positions in SGA and are on the Dean's and President's lists for their academic excellence; all worked at the Math Learning Center at FAU, where they assisted college students with calculus. These young ladies believe that hard work pays off but that social endeavors and community outreach are critical to creating a well-rounded adult in our society.
