This week I have Sonya Matharu from The Mortgage Mum as my guest. She is a mortgage broker but not your typical mortgage broker. She tells us her story about how she ended up becoming a broker completely by accident, after a redundancy, and it was the last thing she expected from her career but she now loves it!
We talk all about mortgages for homeowners, what you need to know before you buy and how to look after your credit file. Sonya is also really passionate about turning this usually boring subject into a more fun one has a dream of teaching teenagers all about money mindset and saving for your future. She also surprised me by informing me that some lenders will even look at your social media profiles to support your mortgage application!
