Over the past few weeks we have had deep discussions about what we are learning individually and how we will use this energy to re-align our mission. While we are so proud of what we have created, we are also profoundly aware of our shortcomings when it has come to sharing BIPOC voices. We take full accountability of this and are currently focusing on making enlightened changes to our platform. Moving forward into our second year of podcasting, we are determined to AMPLIFY, DIVERSIFY and promote INCLUSION through our guests, topics and social media. SHI(F)T HAPPENS is 100% our passion project. We create these episodes because we love connecting with incredible humans and are excited to continue to do so! Currently, we are taking time to actively re-evaluate, educate ourselves and create new content with amazing guests. While we do this, please enjoy a re-release of our conversation with Milwaukee’s own, Lex Allen in which they discuss their artistry, activism and authenticity.
