Description

“You are you’re own worst enemy!”

Where does that expression come from?

Why do people talk a good game and then fail to back it up with action?

Why do many of us have the best intentions to massively transform a particular area of our lives and then proceed to do absolutely f*** all in order to bring it into fruition?

In a word (or two): Self-Sabotage.

In this episode, which is one in a series looking at how our everyday actions can often be inconsistent with our longer-term objectives, I explore the role of neurotransmitters and how a ‘quick-fix’ is more often than not the main culprit.

And while as it turns out what’s going on on an ‘electro-chemical’ level can be deemed to be ‘not your fault’, once you recognise what’s happening inside that complex Brain of yours, if you REALLY want to get the results you desire, all of a sudden, it becomes 100% YOUR responsibility to consciously choose what you put into it.
