If you find yourself regularly being in the position of having ‘too much month at the end of the money’ (as Jim Rohn used to says), guess what?


It’s 100% YOUR fault.


Now if you can relate there are 2 reasons why this is the case for you.


The first is about your money habits - what you spend and what you keep. And this relates to what you do with your money AFTER you’ve earned it. Now most people don’t think they have a problem in this regard. But they are wrong


However we’re not talking about that here.


And in fact, that topic is probably best saved for another episode. I’ll be sure to do one!


So the majority of people then think that if they EARNED more money, they’d have more money. And that’s only partly true.


But for the sake of argument, let’s just pretend it’s the only reason.


So, assuming you have no problematic spending habits, how come you don’t have more coming in?


Let me give you the number one cause...


....You’re not giving others enough reasons to give you more.


Simples.


Now, the majority of society are using a model whereby they exchange time for money. Or at least that's what they think they are doing.


In actual fact, they are not getting paid for time at all. Instead they are getting paid, for what they put in the time, which is usually low skill, low value, hence why typical salaries are so crap. Just look at the National Average Salary and you’ll see what I mean.


So contrary to popular opinion, the answer to getting more money is not doing more ‘overtime’, but rather increasing the value of the product or service you offer.


In that way, you give people more reasons to give you more money. Get it?


After all, a strategy that is based upon the notion of minimal value provision over an extended time period is flawed. Why? Because there is only so much time we have to give.


So you have to focus on ways of delivering value to others without time being such a major factor.


Running an automated business model can help. Because what that allows you to do is deliver value to others whether your are there or not.


The other way is to upskill yourself so that the time you do decide to give is worth more.
