There are some things in Mormonism that are just plain fun to talk about, debate on and think about. One of those topics is Book of Mormon Geography ideas and theories. Meaning where did the events in the Book of Mormon take place. Now while there are many ideas there are really two that seem to draw the most attention one is the Meso-American Model and the other is the Heartland Model. Today’s episode is all about the Heartland Model, and when talking about the Heartland one man stands above all others in that field, his name is Rod Meldrum and lucky for us he agreed to come on the podcast and have a conversation about the Heartland Model. The results are four and half of evidence ranging from Covenants to descriptions from the Book of Mormon its self, to physical evidence, things Joseph Smith has said, and finally to ceremonial structures in the Heartland of America that if you have been endowed should remind of you a few things. Now while you can certainly get a lot from this episode by just listening, I strongly encourage you to head over to the Mormon Renegade Channel at Rumble so you can see all the pictures and slides. Get ready for an absolutely epic mind blowing conversation.
