Something I have learnt over the past few years is how much control I have over my own health and that no one knows my body better than me. I have never spoken about this before but I wanted to open up and share my journey with being diagnosed with HPV and what women go through when we get the fear around our yearly smears, whilst also trying to heal from this virus.
I set myself a mission at the beginning of the year to focus on my own health and finally healing my body from the emotional trauma through sexual abuse, childhood trauma and toxic / abusive relationship with a narcissist.
As always I am an open book so I wanted to take you on this journey with me and share my personal experiences in the hope that it could help give you confidence in your own healing journey and being confident in knowing when your body is communicating with you.
