Episode 8: Wych Cults & Lightning Bolts
Description
Cogitator status://ACTIVE. >WARNING - Xenos threat detected.> Data Exload processing_Complete. Vox-data_Recieved//Subject- [Episode 8]
In our eighth transmission we give our thoughts on the New Year's Open Day & LVO reveals, GW's history of questionable dice and just how strong Master Lazarus has his tea. We also review two recent reads (some minor spoilers) from our favourite 40k writers and discuss our hopes (however ridiculous) for the hobby in 2020.
In our main focus this month, we present a Xenos character study (Don't tell the Inquisition!):
Marc delves into the ultra-violent, sordid background of the Drukhari and gives a lowdown on the indomitable Lelith Hesperax.
Jackson travels the webway and details the badassery of the one and only Fuegan, The Burning Lance.
As usual, we also chat about our recent experiences with 40k lore from novels/audiobooks and give our top picks from the communities content creators.
Audiobooks we review this episode:
‘The Magos’ by Dan Abnett
‘Blood Reaver' by Aaron Dembski-Bowden
Community Content/Creators we cover this episode (amongst others):
The Fluffenhammer Podcast
Dana Howl
Voxcast
Additionally, we say farewell to the Prince of Paints and Marc really gets into a good old-fashioned dice rant.

Farewell Duncan, may the perils of the warp be quashed under your mighty, yet even two coats.
