On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to break down the Panthers' 4-0 shutout win over the Dallas Stars on Saturday night for their first road shutout in Dallas since the 2011 season. Florida gave up 15 shots and kept Mikko Rantanen, Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson without. single shot on the even, but the key to the game was the ability to not allow quality chances on Dallas' 40% home power play, while getting multiple odd man short handed chances, including one that drew a penalty and then resulting in a power play goal before the end of the second period. Anton Lundell and Sam Reinhart hit the highlight reel on two of Florida's goals on the evening, where there was not a lot of space, as it was a franchise low for a shot total in a period to start a game in franchise history (four total between both teams). Sergei Bobrovsky got his 52nd shutout of his career, third of the season. The Panthers proved once again that they are a team that is marching to the beat of the same drum with their buy in. There's a saying that goes "are you a team or are you a club?" Although over the last few years, fans and media have known what the answer was, they once again proved it with how they stood up for each other during Saturday nights game. Florida finishes their road trip in the Gulf Coast as they take on the Lightning for the second game of their season series, where the last time the two teams faced, the Cats came out flat. Both teams have identical records since the last time they met: Tampa 9-5-1, Florida is 7-5-1, and both teams are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games, so a big game on tap on Monday night.
