On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Joey Ganzi(@Mister_Joester) to break down the Panthers 2-1 OT loss to the Nashville Predators, where the Panthers had the lead for the majority of the game, thanks to new dad Carter Verhaeghe., There were many opportunities to create insurance goals with six power play opportunities and even getting four short handed shots on goal. In a penalty filled game, the Cats couldn't take advantage, which cost them a point. Predators tied it 53 minutes into the game after a battle at the net front from Ryan O'Reilly. Panthers had a good amount of control in OT and it took Nashville over two minutes to finally get control, and on a transition play, Gustav Forsling slid into Sergei Bobrovsky and Nashville knocked it into a dislodged net to get the OT winner. Luck was on Nashville's side this time around as the Preds lost a game in that fashion just a few weeks ago. The guys discuss their three duds of the game, when they knew the game was lost, and prepare for the Panthers back-to-back against Columbus and the Islanders.
