Description

Deepa Gandhi is on the Female Founder World podcast with Jasmine Garnsworthy!

Deepa is the co-founder and COO of Dagne Dover, the iconic bag brand that’s grown a cult following. Before launching Dagne Dover, Deepa was smart about it and wanted to test the market. They had been telling friends about their bag idea, but opened it up for pre-sale and in 2013 brought in $40,000 of pre-sale orders.

Four years into the business Dagne Dover launched a neoprene bag, which went totally viral and has been their best seller ever since.

In this episode Deepa talks about how she gained that early market validation, Dagne Dover’s intentional fundraising strategy, and Deepa shares her tips for leveling up as a leader and what their first few hires looked like.
