Self-realization is a profound goal shared by many at Ananda, and there are four key steps to help achieve it. First, clarify your life’s purpose; take the time to introspect and determine what truly matters to you. Second, commit wholeheartedly to this purpose—whether it’s a personal aspiration or a spiritual pursuit, align your thoughts and actions with it. Third, concentrate your energy and focus. As Paramhansa Yogananda pointed out, many people underutilize their potential due to a lack of concentration. Finally, connect with the Divine. While self-effort is vital, the grace of God and Guru is equally important for true liberation. By following these four steps—Clarify, Commit, Concentrate, and Connect—you can enhance both your meditation practice and your life journey.
