From a Heavy Metal band in Wisconsin to Roots / Country Folk in Minneapolis, vocalist and guitarist Matt Walsh seems to have done it all before he was introduced to African music. This introduction opened a whole other world of polyrhythms and musical possibilities. He joined forces with dynamic singer and keyboardist Becca Fox, added a horn section and gave birth to Gentleman Brawlers – an Afro-Beat funk rock band now based in New York.
