Government urged to accelerate key projects for Sligo University Hospital

Local TDs are being urged to exert pressure on the Government in a bid to accelerate key projects for Sligo University Hospital.
It comes as Sligo University Hospital is the second most overcrowded in Ireland today.
According to the latest report from the INMO, there were 46 people awaiting admission to Sligo this morning.
It's a slight reduction on yesterday's figure of 49 when the hospital had the highest number of people waiting than any other facility in the country.
Member of the Regional Health Forum and Fianna Fail Cllr Edel MacSharry says there are long term solutions currently in progress which she feels could be moving quicker:
