Description

Jason Craig from Fraternus and Marc Barnes from New Polity, join Vendée Radio to discuss guilds, Catholic voluntary associations, work and ownership. In this first episode we explore the origins and establishment of the medieval guilds and confraternities, before considering their economic, social and religious functions. We discuss the importance of piety, brotherhood and fatherhood within these institutions.

Mr Craig is the editor of Those Catholic Men and Sword&Spade magazine, the author of Leaving Boyhood Behind (OSV 2019), and co-founder of Fraternus.  He has a Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute.  Craig runs a small Grade A dairy with his family and hosts retreats and workshops through St. Joseph’s Farm.
