Terrifying? Horror? Not So Much for This Reader.
In the context of this book I believe the terms "horror" and "terrifying" are relative terms. My definitions of those terms are obviously different than the author's. I am an older reader and have read many stories similar to these over the years so it seems rather repetitive to me. To less familiar readers these may seem scary, but for me, not so much. Editing was lacking in places throughout the book and I gave it three stars for effort in hopes the author hones their skills for improvement in the future.
I Loved Each One Of These Stories.
I really loved these scary stories. They were not to long that I could not read thru a few chapters before bed. They were scary and terrifying enough to hold my interest. I would recommend this little book to those who love to read about the paranormal and bizarre mysteries.
.
Well written I really enjoyed this book. I wish it was longer, I would recommend this book to others. Thanks
Want to read more. Loved it!
Well, I chewed this one up and spit it out! I didn't want to put the book down until it ended. I really enjoyed the theme of it. I do wish it was longer, but for short, it was a very decent read.
It's that time of the year and all I want to do is read something scary and Hannah Tidy came through. Great author! The stories are very well written. If you enjoy horror/supernatural, this one has a great collection.
I would definitely recommend. I am definitely interested in the authors Ghost Stories book, too.
Sort Of
Some stories were OK good, some kinda "what?" and a few downright bizarre. The author does present the question of "what the heck is THAT!"
