Amir: And we are live! Welcome! Welcome everybody to tonight’s Mastermind call. My name is Amir Mahmoud and I’m your Business and Marketing Mentor. We’ve got a new website up. We’ve actually re-branded ourselves. Some are really excited  about a lot of the new changes that are upcoming, that are happening, the event that we have going on in February and a couple of months. And I’m so excited to cover one of the most powerful ideas in marketing that if you learn and master this one concept, it’s actually going to be responsible in making $18,000 in 3 days in this brand new business and this is the business that has no testimonial results, this is a business in completely different niche and this is a business that’s just kind of got off from the ground and rolling.


 


How do I get my first coaching class? How do I do it online?


 


Amir: So if you’re a coach, if you want to be a mentor, if you’d like to get students and you’re asking the question “How do I get my first coaching class? How do I do it online?” We’re going to show you exactly how to do that in the webinar tonight.


I’m gonna go over with what I actually did with one of my new business ventures. My buddy Ross, he’s been flipping houses for about 6 months now, he’s made over 6 figures in 6 months. And so, he’s got a little bit of a testimonial, a little bit of a results – Hi Fizza, How are you?


Fizza: Hi Amir, how are you?


Amir: I’m good. You can just mute yourself out if you’re not talking because they just bounces around from person to person. So, I  was just- Let me tell you a story of how this person literally made  over a hundred thousand dollars in 6 months flipping houses and so the reality is he wanted to start mentoring people.


The first thing when you’re building a business is to get a specific result. Now whatever that result is, is entirely up to you and your niche. He knows he’s flipped a couple of houses; he’s not the best in the industry, there are people who are making millions of dollars in this niche. He’s only made a hundred thousand. It’s actually a really small result. But off that small result he was start to leverage that result to get to a bigger result.


So this is what he did. He actually went ahead he took – he started going to the training and this is what he did. It was actually amazing. He was shooting videos for a couple of months. He was shooting videos just telling people “Hey, I’m fixing this or Hey, I’m doing that.” and slowly but surely with time he started building this presence so everybody on his Facebook he was letting people know, his friends, we was putting it on Snapchat, he’s putting it on Instagram, he was just posting it all over the Internet. He doesn’t have a Facebook fan page yet, he doesn’t have a mailing list, he didn’t have any of the basi components but he was taking content, creating content, producing it and publicizing it. So people started paying attention. And through that he built a little bit of an audience in about 100 people who are commenting on his posts, liking his posts, which is not a lot of people, it’s not a lot especially if it took you about 6 months to get about a hundred people to like your stuff. And he hasn’t done any kind of marketing online. He was just exposing his current friends list with what he was doing.


I sat down with him and I said, “Hey, if you really want to take this seriously I can help you do it.” And part of the agreements that we made we said “Okay, if we build this business together…” He knew that I had different skillsets and marketing and setting things up online and then selling and then coaching and he didn’t feel comfortable doing the whole business by himself and I’m mentoring and I’m coaching him. He wants to do the business with me.


We struck up the deal. We said “Okay, let’s go ahead and create this business and I really see a really big potential for you to be able to help people out. “That’s what we did. We actually got together and we said “Okay, it’s time for us to go ahead and get you your first student. Your first coaching client.”


It was quite interesting because the people experience this as  soon as they start like if they never had a student before the biggest problem that they have is overcoming themselves, overcoming the objections of “Am I good enough? Can I really help people get results?” They know that they’re going to have cognitively; consciously they know that they can get a particular result but they are not confident or they’re not sure that they’re going to be providing in a value to a new person. They never coached somebody or never actually showed somebody how to do something.


It took him a little bit to overcome that and he’s still working through that. What we actually did was we put up a post; put up a video and I’ll send you guys the link so you could take a look at this. It’s a sales video. And before we actually did any kind of marketing, we sat together and said “What do we want this to look like?”


Write this question down. If you don’t write anything else, at the end of this call, what is the whole thing look like? At the back end  you want coaching and the reason for coaching is: One you could charge a premium for it. Two, it’s not scalable. Because it’s not scalable you have to be very selective on whom you actually spend your time with. And because a lot of information that you can give you can actually get through the form of video and that the premium that people are paying for is questions.



Coaching And The Relevance Of Asking Questions


 


Amir: In coaching, you’re not necessarily spending all your time teaching people the same thing over and over and over again. You want your teaching, your videos to teach people what to do when you want your coaching to be able to answer questions.


That’s kind of one of the reasons why we have this coaching group is that you guys can come out here and ask questions. As long as we do deliver information we want to keep this more round answering questions more than anything because that’s really bring a lot of value. And Will and I have shot a hundred of videos and we let you guys have complete access to that and the reason for that is because that you can do at your own time, that when you get on a call you can ask questions and get the answers that you’re looking for.
