I enjoy a lighthearted romance that doesn't require much thought. While the plot could certainly be improved, and the storyline might benefit from a bit more polish, the Lonely Planet film features stunning visuals and decent performances given its genre. Liam excels in portraying the charming yet misunderstood character, though I believe the girlfriend's narrative could have been developed further. Loren's journey almost evokes sympathy, but it falls just short. Did I leave the theater satisfied? Absolutely. I do wish there had been a glimpse of their future life before the credits, but that might have led to more questions than answers. Overall, after a few drinks, I got exactly what I was looking for!
