The Piano Lesson movie blew me away. The plot, characters, and cinematography captivated and enthralled me. I prefer to see movies in this manner, so I entered knowing very little about the plot. Bravo to everyone who worked on this production. I adored how the picture struck a balance between its serious elements and its subtle comedic moments. Unexpectedly, I burst out laughing in many places, which relieved the tension. The singing was amazing, too. It's one of those movies you tell people they must see, and seeing it made me feel better. I'll be amazed if this movie doesn't take home any Oscars. On my fantasy film team, this would be my first choice!
