Rejection used to cripple me.

I remember when I didn't match for a PGY-1 residency. I was very upset, but it wound up being one of the best things for me and my career.

Although I didn't match, I found a residency through the "scramble" that was a great fit for me. I loved my PGY-1 year and the relationships that formed as a result.
